Every performance tool reports what a page costs right now; none answer the question teams actually argue about, which is what it would cost without a given resource. Drop in a Lighthouse report, switch things off, and watch the score move. It reimplements Lighthouse's real scoring — the log-normal curves, the p10/median control points, the published category weights — so a projection lands on the scale stakeholders already screenshot. And it ranks by score recovered rather than bytes, which is how a 30 KB render-blocking script ends up above a 400 KB image that loads after LCP.
